The People’s Passion, April 7 (Good Friday), 3pm

Easter Lilies

If you would like to sponsor a lily in church this Easter, perhaps in memory of loved ones, please put a donation in an envelope marked ‘Easter Lilies’ and leave it at the Church Office, the Rectory or the village shop.  There is also a list in the church porch where you can write down names if you wish.

Easter Prayer Space

During Easter Weekend, a Prayer Space will be set up in the Tower Room at St Mary’s.

Come and take some tie to reflect on what the Cross means to you!

Rev. Douglas and Mary last Sunday at St. Mary’s, April 16

Douglas and Mary’s last service at St. Mary’s will be on April 16 at 10am.  There will be several elements to this service.  If you would like to make a contribution towards a gift for the Wrens, there are several ways to do this:

  • Put an envelope in the collection or donation box at church labelled ‘Wrens leaving gift’
  • Use the card machine in church.  Add 50p to the end of the donation to ensure it goes to the Wrens.
  • Click on this link to make a virtual donation. Add 50p to the end of the donation to ensure it goes to the Wrens.

Annual Parochial Meeting of Worshipers, April 30

After the service on April 30, you are all welcome to join this short meeting to review and vote on the future of St.  Mary’s.  The DCC will be elected including new Church Wardens and a Parish Safeguarding Officer.  If you would like to be involved in being part of the team making decisions about St. Mary’s future, we would love to hear from you.  If you don’t think you can help at this time, please pray that those with the right skills to offer will be prompted by God to step forward.
